After attending the course The Fundamentals of Operating Cloud Service at Vault Academy, I feel I am better positioned to provide support and answers to management when it comes to implementing cloud at the workplace.
It has been an interactive and informative session with more of a workshop style feel rather than just being spoken by an instructor like most other training programmes. I would definitely recommend this course to those who would like to learn about the fundamentals of cloud.
This course is well thought through and well executed. Trainers were experienced, hands-on engineers with great people skills and wide knowledge of the topic. Discussions which would follow were applicable in real life situations.
The whole course is tailored to widening individual perceptions of the cloud technologies instead of delivering paid promotion, so it was both very enjoyable and useful – hence well worth of time and money investment. The support staff was great and we felt well taken care of during the whole process of booking, attending and post course communication.
I found the course “The Fundamentals of Operating Cloud Service” at Vault Academy to be insightful, engaging and something that made me want to get back to the system and onto the keyboard. As someone who is non-technical, I think that’s a big achievement. Getting a better feel of the tools was great, for example, having an understanding of what Jenkins does, not just from an automaton perspective but using it as a testing mechanism for pipeline management.
Overall, the course was a nice mix of blended learning experience having both theory and plenty of hands on practise opportunities as well as real subject-matter-experts from Vault to answer all your questions.
I think this course would actually be a useful course for someone in the C-Suite because it is important for them to understand why Vault’s architecture is different in terms of the protections it provides for data and its mitigation against Hypervisor Exploits.
