Connection Options
Vault’s robust cloud network is the backbone supporting our critical services catering to your business needs. We cater to all sizes and types of organisations including low latency and high throughput networks. When you partner with Vault, you directly benefit from our secure ‘Software Defined Network’, while we take care of the complex physical networking, micro-segmentation and connectivity between data centres. With Vault underpinning your IT operations, your business and technology teams can focus on innovation.
When you utilise Vault’s services, you automatically gain from the multiple methods to integrate current services and new cloud native solutions. To cater to your most demanding applications and services, Vault offers two main connection options:
- Dedicated fibre channels
- ASD approved encryption protocols over the internet
Vault’s fibre connectivity options like the Intra-government Communications Network (ICON) or a data centre cross connect, grants direct on-premise to cloud connections. Secure Layer 2 (Fibre) connections allow you to transition at your own pace with confidence, that all data transmitted is secure, retrievable and easily accessed.
Publishing your Software as a Service applications from Vault’s cloud provides the confidence and trust to safely test new products before integrating directly into your critical production systems. Vault’s ASD Certified Secure Internet Gateway (SIG) scales to meet your bandwidth requirements without long lead times or additional fees for changing firewall rules.
